Circuit!
As you can see, it's a track of continuously going up an down. All of the climbs are short, most of them won't take longer than 15-25 seconds.
The course is built around three artificial hills. The first hill is planted with trees and about 15 meters high. You'll climb this hill three times in a round. It is not very steep, a rider in good shape can do it on the 44. The second hill is sort of a wild meadow and also about 15 meters high. You'll climb this one approximatly six times. Most of the climbs are steeper than the first hill. On one of them, even some of the best riders have to (or decide to) walk. The last and longest climb goes aroud the third hill, where the indoor ski centre is situated. It's about 20 meters high.
The soil is almost everywhere a sort of clay with a little gravel on it. In summertime it's hardpacked and fast. After a rainy period it will be slippery for a while, but the track dries very fast. Some downhills can be tricky due to the loose gravel, but are never very technical. The total track is 5300 meters long. It takes about 13-14 minutes to go round, so it's a rather fast track. Bart Brentjens was always hard to beat on it.
